about me
My name is Rachel Anne (she/her), and I’m from Philadelphia, PA. I currently live full-time in an RV with my partner and two kitties and primarily stay in the Southwest, between AZ and CA.
I believe a better world is possible. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 19, I saw the injustices of colonized, capitalist systems all around me— and felt compelled to take action creating positive systemic change.
I became a founding member of the nonprofit organization fighting corruption in Pennsylvania, MarchOnHarrisburg. Cultivating community as a grassroots organizer led me to develop my design, communications, and leadership skills. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked with organizations and businesses fighting systemic corruption, systemic poverty, systemic racism, and environmental devastation.
My diagnosis also led me to plant-based living to manage my disease progression. I have become deeply passionate about food justice and creating resilient food systems that support the health and connection of our communities and land. I host community plant-based potlucks and educational walks to teach people about wild edible food and native plants. Visit my foraging page to learn more.
